Alison produced a collection of jewellery inspired by the spirit and enigma of Blickling Hall, a Jacobean stately home built on the ruins of the ancestral seat of the Boleyn family which is now in the hands of the National Trust.
First shown at Blickling, the pieces, whilst echoing the past, are designed and created to be worn as contemporary work and reflect the distinctive style of Alison’s work.
The original exhibition, commissioned by the Red Dot Gallery, also hosted original work by artist Kate Leiper. One of Alison’s pieces, an 18ct gold garnet and pearl pendant, was featured in one of the main pieces.
